BMH named one of the nation's 100 Top Hospitals
Ball Memorial hospital has been named one of the nation's 100 Top Hospitals for cardiovascular care. The Thomson Reuters annual study identifies 100 hospitals that set the highest national performance levels for both clinical and managerial excellence in cardiovascular care. BMH was one of four Indiana hospitals in the top 100 and the only Teaching Hospital in Indiana without a Cardiovascular Residency to make the list.

BMH receives trio of Blue Distinction designations
BMH has been designated as a Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association (BCBSA) Blue Distinction® Center in the areas of Cardiac Care, Knee and Hip Replacement and Spine Surgery. Blue Distinction® recognizes facilities that meet objective, evidence-based thresholds for clinical quality, in collaboration with expert physicians and medical organizations.

Rehab Center receives multiple CARF accreditations
The Physical Rehabilitation Center at Ball Memorial Hospital has received a three-year accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). This represents the ninth consecutive three-year accreditation BMH has received from the international accrediting body.
